We will be operating with limited seating. Please book in advance for a table, otherwise we cannot guarantee space is available. Please note we can only take bookings for afternoon tea & brunch. If you wanted to drop by for a slice of cake, coffee or a biskie, we will have a dedicated take-out window, or enquire with a member of staff and they will be able to advise if a table is available. We will have a limited range of baked goods in store, we apologies in advance if your favourite isn’t available!
Whilst stores have got the green light to open from the 4th July, the Potion Room sadly will not be opening for a little while longer.
The Potion Room is a small, cosy area, and we want to be able to offer a safe but full experience. There is a theatrical element also. It would be near impossible to relaunch the Potion Room with current social distancing guidelines, and we take the safety of our customers and staff very seriously and don’t want to put anyone at risk. Also taking into consideration how many people use public transport, and come far and wide to visit us - we wish we could magic this away!
The Potion Room WILL open again though, just not as soon as many may hope. We are looking to open the Potion Room again from January 2021 (wowee)! You may have heard about the new afternoon tea experience - this will be pushed back so we can bring back the Potion Room & everyone who wanted to enjoy this, can do!
Those who had their bookings cancelled will have first priority - you will be sent an email with exclusive dates to re-book before we open. Please keep an eye out for this email in the coming weeks. When tickets go on general sale, we will also send an email about this also.
As always, without the support of our customers we would never been able to stay open and run as an online store, we are forever grateful! We hope to see you soon.
Hey guys! A quick one about your Potion Room booking.
If you have emailed us and haven't heard back, we aren't ignoring you!
It is a manual process to re-issue vouchers, it's not automated. And we have a couple of hundred emails to process!
So we are a little backed up with only two people working through them.
Please rest assured we are getting through them and you will be responded to. You will be able to re-book as soon as we are able to open again.
So sorry for the delay, we are trying our best.

To our loyal customers, fans and followers.
To do our part to discourage the spread of the virus we have taken the responsible decision to close our two stores, switching to trading completely online only. Deliveries will remain as normal.
We completely understand any disappointment caused, and for us this is a really difficult decision to make but feel that it is in the best interest of your health, the health of our staff and the country.
We will be continuing our online operations and increasing our nationwide products so keep an eye out. Let's try and send as much love out as possible with a little treat or gift voucher to show your support!

For Potion Room afternoon teas & Masterclasses that have been affected we will provide gift vouchers that are valid for 24 months. We will release new Potion Room dates once we are able to open again to give those a chance with cancelled bookings the chance to visit, and we will be hosting an exciting new Wizarding themed afternoon tea following the Potion Room. Your voucher will be valid for this as well.
As a small family run business that has grown organically from all your amazing support we now appreciate it more than ever during these uncertain times. So for that we thank you.

All Cutter & Squidge staff are well trained in all areas of personal and workplace hygiene and internal checks are made regularly to ensure the highest standards.
During the recent outbreak of Covid-19 (coronavirus), we have been closely monitoring and following the advice from Public Health England and asking any employees travelling back from key affected areas to self-isolate for 14 days. So far, we have had no cases of self-isolation and no cases of infection.
