Hi guys, we just wanted to clarify if our stores are open yet.
Thank you for wanting to pop in and support our stores. Whilst our online store remains open, our cafes are closed temporarily. We are not reopening in April or May. We are taking this time to renovate the store and are looking at a late summer launch! We look forward to seeing you all then in better times!

Thank you for your order and for the support you have shown us.

We are extremely sorry to let you know, we have had to make the hard decision to suspend production until 9th January. This means we have suspended London deliveries until 10th January, and nationwide deliveries until 12th January. 

As a small family run business, the safety of our staff will always remain a priority. At present, due to these unpredictable times, the operational difficulties surrounding the Tier 4 restrictions and government recommendations, we believe it is important that everyone is able to follow the ‘stay at home’ rule for this period. 

We did our utmost to fulfil all Christmas deliveries following the change to Tier 4 last Saturday and the information surrounding the new strain of COVID19. However, we are unable to sustain the working practices put in place for those final days before Christmas.

We understand this will cause disappointment but the well-being of our staff is paramount and we hope you will understand. 

We thank you for the unwavering support all our customers have given us
this year and look forward to being able to deliver treats again very soon.

Following the most recent news, we have taken the responsible decision to close our Soho store until the lockdown has lifted. Our online shop will remain open and we will continue to deliver to your door throughout the lockdown across the UK. Our team are ready to cheer you up!

We understand this is not the news any of us wants to hear, but we believe this is the best decision to make for the safety of our staff and customers. If you have bookings for afternoon tea within this time we will issue gift vouchers with an expiry of 2 years so these can be claimed anytime.

These are hard times for everyone, so remember to look after one another and be kind to yourself. A sweet treat sent to yourself or a loved one is the perfect way to make the day a little brighter, so why not head to our online shop and order yourself a treat or two.

We can't wait to see your lovely faces in our Soho store again and please remember this won't last forever and things will get better.

We know a lot of you are wondering what is happening with The Potion Room, and when you can come to experience it.

Whilst stores have got the green light to open from the 4th July, the Potion Room sadly will not be opening for a little while longer.

The Potion Room is a small, cosy area, and we want to be able to offer a safe but full experience. There is a theatrical element also. It would be near impossible to relaunch the Potion Room with current social distancing guidelines, and we take the safety of our customers and staff very seriously and don’t want to put anyone at risk. Also taking into consideration how many people use public transport, and come far and wide to visit us - we wish we could magic this away!

The Potion Room WILL open again though, just not as soon as many may hope. We are looking to open the Potion Room again from January 2021 (wowee)! You may have heard about the new afternoon tea experience - this will be pushed back so we can bring back the Potion Room & everyone who wanted to enjoy this, can do!

Those who had their bookings cancelled will have first priority - you will be sent an email with exclusive dates to re-book before we open. Please keep an eye out for this email in the coming weeks. When tickets go on general sale, we will also send an email about this also.

As always, without the support of our customers we would never been able to stay open and run as an online store, we are forever grateful! We hope to see you soon.

We are sending this email out as you must be wondering, with the recent government announcements, what this means for your Potion Room/Masterclass booking.

We have been so looking forward to welcoming you to the Potion Room or to our Masterclass, but due to recent recommendations by the government to avoid all non-essential contact, we have made the sad but necessary decision to postpone The Potion Room & Masterclasses for the foreseeable future (all Potion Room bookings until the end of May 2020).

 

We completely understand any disappointment caused, and for us this is a really difficult decision to make but feel that it is in the best interest of your health and the health of our staff.

 

We are offering gift vouchers to everyone affected by this, please email hello@cutterandsquidge.com and we will issue these to you. If you used a Potion Room gift voucher for your current booking, these will automatically become valid again - please bear with us as we process these for you.

 

Gift vouchers are valid for 24 months.  We will release new Potion Room dates once we are able to open again to give those a chance with cancelled bookings the chance to visit, and we will be hosting an exciting new Wizarding themed afternoon tea following the Potion Room. Your voucher will be valid for this as well.

COMPANY UPDATE - 15th April 2020

To our loyal customers, fans and followers.

To do our part to discourage the spread of the virus we have taken the responsible decision to close our two stores, switching to trading completely online only. Deliveries will remain as normal.

We completely understand any disappointment caused, and for us this is a really difficult decision to make but feel that it is in the best interest of your health, the health of our staff and the country.

We will be continuing our online operations and increasing our nationwide products so keep an eye out. Let's try and send as much love out as possible with a little treat or gift voucher to show your support!

All Cutter & Squidge staff are well trained in all areas of personal and workplace hygiene and internal checks are made regularly to ensure the highest standards. 

During the recent outbreak of Covid-19 (coronavirus), we have been closely monitoring and following the advice from Public Health England and asking any employees travelling back from key affected areas to self-isolate for 14 days.  So far, we have had no cases of self-isolation and no cases of infection.
