Level: Advanced - for those confident in using a palette knife
Always fancied yourself a bit crafty in the kitchen? Have you got your baking skills down but need a hand with perfecting your masterpiece and applying those finishing touches?
Held at our store in the iconic Royal Exchange in Central London, we are holding a masterclass in cake decorating with Annabel Lui, the co-founder of Cutter & Squidge!
Enjoy a glass of prosecco whilst creating your masterpiece. In this 1pm class, we will be showing you how to assemble and decorate a fresh flower cake, with a vanilla sponge and raspberry jam filling. There will be an array of flowers and decorations to choose from, so you can either follow us or create something bespoke!
You will also be honing your culinary skills and decorate with all-natural ingredients!
In this masterclass, you will learn how to:
- Construct a 6” cake
- Crumb coat your cake
- Achieve smooth finishing when covering you cake
- Arrange flowers on a cake and styling
You will also have the chance to ask Annabel any questions to help you with your baking at home.
At the end of the class, you can take home your finished creation to enjoy with friends and family.
Classes run for 2 – 2.5 hrs
Our classes are suitable for ages 10+, but under 16’s must come with an adult.
