VEGAN DECORATING MASTERCLASS 25/01/20 - 12pm

Always fancied yourself a bit crafty in the kitchen? Have you got your baking skills down but need a hand with perfecting your masterpiece and applying those finishing touches?
Held at our store in the iconic Royal Exchange in Central London, we are holding a masterclass in cake decorating with the bakers of Cutter & Squidge!
Enjoy a glass of prosecco whilst creating your masterpiece. In this 12pm class, we will be showing you how to assemble and decorate the our Chocolate Squidge Cake. Also affectionately known as the Kitchen Sink cake, as everything goes into this cake, everything but the kitchen sink!
This class shows you how to get more out of your baking, literally. Part of being eco-conscious is about reduce your food waste in the kitchen - this cake is great as you can use delicious brownie off cuts, spare toppings, biscuits and more to make this chocolate masterpiece!
You will also be honing your culinary skills and learning how to bake and decorate with all-natural ingredients!
In this masterclass, you will learn how to:
- Construct a 6” cake
- Mix a vegan buttercream to a bespoke colour using natural food colouring
- Ice a cake like a pro
- Handle fresh ingredients and how to extract their goodness and colour
This class also allows you to practise your piping skills and spatula handiwork. You will also have the chance to ask our head baker any questions to help you with your baking at home.
At the end of the class, you can take home your finished creation to enjoy with friends and family.
Classes run for 1.5 – 2 hrs and are suitable for ages 10+, but under 16’s must come with an adult.
