We’re thrilled to unveil our deliciously fun collaboration with Quite Nice London! To mark the occasion, we caught up with founder Milli for a candid chat about everything from entrepreneurial tips to her favourite summer recipes. Our exclusive collection is available now—but with limited quantities, you’ll want to snap them up before they’re gone!
1. What inspired you to create Quite Nice?
I started Quite Nice as a passion project at the start of the 2020 lockdown, I had recently graduated from Art School and was looking for a job. While I was hunting I came up with the idea of 'Recipe T-Shirts', this was a really fun idea to me because my two favourite hobbies are cooking and drawing, so I was excited to combine the two into a concept. More so for fun than anything else I started designing and set up my Instagram and luckily other people liked the idea too so I just kept drawing and coming up with new products and ideas.
2. Do you have a favourite recipe and can you share it with us?
That’s such a hard one! It really changes day to day, but at the moment I’d say a classic Puttanesca.
3. For a special occasion, what is your go to bake?
If I really want to impress, I’ll always make a chocolate roulade - specifically my mum’s recipe, which has a generous splash of brandy! For summer gatherings, I love a fresh raspberry tart with crème pâtissière.
4. How do you decide which recipes you want to create as a print or t-shirt?
First, I look into trending foods and recipes—because like fashion, food trends shift quickly, especially online. Then I ask my followers (usually through a vote) to see what resonates. Once I’ve narrowed it down, I’ll sketch a few versions, experimenting with different ingredients and layouts until I land on the final design.
5. What is your bestselling design and what inspired it?
It tends to change with the seasons! In winter, the Carbonara and Tiramisu tees are the top sellers—both are inspired by two of my favourite Italian dishes. People are really passionate about the authenticity of those recipes, which makes them fun to design. In the summer, the cocktail tees are super popular—this year, the Spicy Margarita is leading the pack!
6. What is your advice to anyone wanting to start a business?
Don’t overthink it! Starting something new can feel overwhelming, but you’ll make mistakes no matter how prepared you are—and that’s okay. Mistakes are part of the process. I’d also say: post on social media as much as you can. It’s scary at first, but once you get past the initial nerves, it becomes a powerful way to connect with people. Most importantly, trust in your creativity and your product—there are people out there who will love what you’re doing just as much as you do:)
This collaboration is a true celebration of creativity, food, and fun - just like Quite Nice itself. Whether you’re after a wearable recipe or a playful kitchen accessory, these pieces are designed to bring joy to everyday moments.
But be quick - they’re only available in limited quantities. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
