Our sweet boxes for Diwali are built for different jobs: some to open at home, others to send as a Diwali gift box. The boxes below vary as much in size as in what’s inside.
The Diwali Selection Box is the one for variety: it arrives in a hand-illustrated gifting sleeve holding four Gulab Jamun Cupcakes with saffron, rose and cardamom buttercream, four egg-free Rose Brownie Bites, two Mango Kulfi & White Chocolate Tarts and two Chocolate Cardamom Ganache Tarts, as 12 pieces from £23.99 or 24 at £42.99. The sleeve means it needs no wrapping, so it arrives as a finished Diwali sweets gift box.
Our Diwali Mixed Mini Brownies are the easiest Diwali sweet gift box here to send. Every brownie is egg-less and roughly two inches square, in Mango & White Chocolate Kulfi, Milk Chocolate & Cardamom, and Saffron & Coconut; a 12-piece box from £21.99 gives you four of each, and the whole thing fits through a letterbox.
On the savoury side, Bombay Masala Savoury Bites and Carrot Cake Halwa Cookie Bites are £5.99 each: one warmly spiced with garam masala, cinnamon and turmeric and good with chai, the other carrot halwa turned crisp. If you’d rather send a mix in one go, the Diwali Snacking Hamper at £46.99 brings together a different set of bites, crisps and a spiced tomato chutney, and sits alongside the full range of Diwali hampers.
Ours isn’t a traditional mithai counter, and we don’t pretend otherwise. What we make is a bakery version of the Diwali sweet box and the Diwali mithai box: the flavours people reach for at this time of year, built as cupcakes, brownie bites and tarts rather than barfi and ladoo. Every bake in these Diwali boxes is made by hand in our own London kitchen with natural, premium ingredients, which is what separates them from a boxed assortment bought in and rebranded.
Every sweet box for Diwali in this collection is vegetarian, and you can check each product page for full allergen information. Fresh items need the fridge: the Selection Box keeps three days and the mini brownies up to seven, while the savoury and cookie bites keep in a cool, dry place.
Diwali, or Deepavali as it is also known, falls on 8 November in 2026, and the boxes sell out fast, so it’s worth ordering early rather than in the final week.
Diwali treats boxes delivery is handled by DPD on a date you nominate, usually with next day delivery if you order by 4pm Monday to Friday, though that cut-off can move in the busiest weeks - so check before you order. DPD standard delivery is free on orders over £50, although there are more delivery options depending where you live and if you want more flexibility on delivery date.
Sending more than one is straightforward: post Diwali sweet gift boxes to both sides of the family, or to a whole team, from a single checkout, each with its own delivery date and gift message.
Ours hold bite-sized Diwali sweet treats rather than barfi or ladoo: gulab jamun cupcakes, egg-less brownies, mango kulfi and chocolate cardamom tarts, and spiced savoury and cookie bites. Every box arrives ready to hand over or open.
Yes, everything in this collection is vegetarian, and the Diwali Mixed Mini Brownies are egg-less throughout. Nothing here is gluten-free, and all of it is baked in a kitchen handling nuts and other allergens, so read the product page if allergies are a factor.
Early. Diwali is on 8 November 2026, demand builds through the fortnight before, and the larger boxes go first. Ordering ahead means you choose the box and the delivery date rather than taking what is left.
We deliver Diwali sweet boxes UK wide by courier rather than through local shops, so wherever you are on the mainland we can usually reach you. If you’re in London you can also visit our Soho cafe, and inside the M25 we offer guaranteed nominated-day and timed delivery slots.
Cutter & Squidge is a sister-run London bakery with a cafe in Soho, and these boxes are made by the same team that bakes our celebration cakes. That’s why the flavours are ours rather than off a supplier list, and why a Diwali sweet gift box from us looks like a bakery box rather than a hamper of other people’s products. If a box of bites isn’t what you want, our Diwali cakes include the Diwali Mango Gulab Jamun Cake, and the wider Diwali gifts range takes in Diwali jewellery and smaller presents. Happy Diwali from all of us.
