Squidgies, what a decade it’s been! We’ve turned home baking marathons and ‘who gets the last cookie’ debates into Cutter & Squidge.
Bringing you the perfect sweet indulgences for gifting and sharing with loved ones, or just as a little treat for yourself, because we all deserve it.
From inventing the iconic biskie to perfecting the fudgy brownie, it’s been a tasty 10 years and it still feels like only the beginning.
But before we look ahead, let’s reminisce on all those mini triumphs that's led us here…
In 2013, we travelled to Chelsea Farmers Market to set up the first homemade, ‘all natural’ sweet treat stall, including the launch of our iconic biskie - a sell-out within an hour!
In 2014, After many years of perfecting, Great Taste awarded our Salted Caramel with 3 gold stars! We celebrated by devouring a whole jar of caramel…each.
In 2015, it was time for us to grow. We wanted to create the perfect cake-escape tucked away from the hustle and bustle of busy London. So we opened our doors to the first Cutter & Squidge cafe located in the heart of trendy Soho.
In 2016, we launched the first ‘Hello Kitty’ cafe outside of Asia! We collaborated exclusively with Sanrio to create a unique and quirky experience based around Kitty having afternoon tea in London.
In 2017, we launched the first immersive afternoon tea experience…ever! Inspired by a Genies Cave, this triumph reached over 4 million hits on social media.
In 2018, eager to expand, we decided to tap into our busy business cake community, and opened up our second Cutter & Squidge cafe in Bank, London.
In 2019, we opened our third location in Victoria, London. Cosy, comforting and the perfect spot for a slice of cake, coffee and a natter with loved ones.
In 2020, we released our gift from the chocolate heavens - our letterbox, fudgy brownies. This quickly became a Cutter & Squidge cult favourite and our no.1 bestseller.
In 2021, to celebrate love, we collaborated with the beautiful Emma Bridgewater for the perfect Valentine's Day gift. A sell-out hamper filled with chocolatey goodness and hearts galore. A collaboration you loved and might be making a comeback…
In 2022, we brought together two gifting staples with our amazing partnership with Bloom & Wild - flowers and chocolate, what more could your loved ones want?
Finally, the cherry on top of a delicious decade! Last year, Cutter & Squidge was recognised in the Sunday Times Top 100 for Britain's fastest-growing private companies list - Squidgies, we made it!
