Serving: 20-28 Biscuits

Ingredients

For biscuits:

  • 300g Plain flour
  •
  • 100g Caster sugar
  •
  • 125g Unsalted butter (softened)
  •
  • 10g Aquafaba or egg white
  •
  • 15g Cocoa powder
  •
  • ½ tsp Salt
  •
  • ½ tsp Baking powder

For decorating:

100g Milk or Dark chocolate buttons

Sprinkles of your choice (we used crushed nuts, oreos, sugar sprinkles and freeze dried fruits!)

Recipe

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180c fan and line 2 baking trays with greaseproof paper.

Step 2

Combine all your biscuit ingredients in a bowl (with the help of your little ones!)

Step 3

Roll out your biscuit dough, until 5mm thick, onto 2 pieces of greaseproof paper and begin cutting out your biscuit shapes with cookie cutters of your choice.

Step 4

Place the biscuits onto your lined baking trays and bake for 15-18 minutes until lovely and crisp. Remove from the oven and leave to cool fully.

Step 5

Pop your chocolate buttons into a heat proof bowl and melt in the microwave for bursts of 30 seconds, stirring as you go to avoid overheating the chocolate.

Step 6

Once cooled, begin dipping half your biscuits in the melted chocolate and place back onto your greaseproof lined tray.

Step 7

Sprinkle time! Take your selection of decorations and begin sprinkling onto the chocolate biscuits. Leave to set fully before tucking in with your little ones.

Enjoy!
