Your tier sets the rate and your order earns it, whether that gift is going to a friend or straight back to you. A birthday Brownie Box earns the same credit as a treat-yourself Biskie selection. We reward the order, not just the gesture.

£1 of credit is always £1 off

No conversion rate. No expiry catch buried in the terms. Your balance is your balance and it comes straight off at checkout.

Credit is valid for 90 days

We will flag anything approaching its expiry date in your Wallet and drop you a reminder by email. Plenty of notice to find a good reason to place an order, which, given the circumstances, should not be too difficult.

Completely free. Create a Cutter and Squidge account, place your first order, and you are in as a Thoughtful member. No sign-up fee, no subscription, nothing to cancel.
They do. Any order placed through your account earns Wallet credit, whether the gift is going to someone else or to yourself. Self-gifts also count towards your tier progress across the year.
Within 24 hours of your order being confirmed. It shows up clearly in your Squidge Wallet, labelled by order, and is ready to use straight away.

Yes, credit is valid for 90 days from the date it is earned. We will send a reminder before anything lapses, so you will not be caught out. Consider it a nudge to find your next reason to order.
It is where you save the people and dates that matter most. The Gift Diary is available from Sweet tier onwards, which starts from your second gift order. We send timed reminders as each occasion approaches and if you place an order within 28 days of a saved date, an extra +£2 lands in your Wallet on top of your usual credit earn.
Yes. You can save any date that matters, including occasions where the gift is for you. The +£2 Gift Diary bonus applies to self-gift orders the same as any other.
Tiers are based on total gifts sent in the past 12 months, including self-gifts. Sweet from 2 to 4 orders. Luxe from 5 to 9, or £300 or more spent. Showstopper for 10 or more orders or £600 or more in a year. Tiers are reviewed every January.
We give you a 3-month grace period and set a personal challenge to work towards, something like 'Place two orders before April to keep your Luxe status.' We would far rather help you stay than watch you slip back.
If an order is returned or refunded, the credit earned from it will be removed from your Wallet. We will always let you know when that happens.
One account per person. Your membership, Wallet and Gift Diary all live in one place, which makes everything much easier to keep track of.
Share your unique referral link. When a friend creates a new account and places their first order, credit lands in your Wallet automatically. £5 at Thoughtful tier, £10 at Sweet and above. No limit on referrals.
