And what a summer it’s been.
August started with something very unexpected for us…we went viral on TikTok?!
One of our customers shared a video of her enjoying a Wedding Sample Cake, which she’d bought for herself as a treat. She’d created something we hadn’t even thought of, and everyone went wild for it with over 5 million views on TikTok and Instagram and a huge flurry of orders!
The problem was, the Wedding Sample Cake is only available in London - so we set to creating a nationwide version and the Squidge Cake Taster Box was born - the ultimate ‘treat yourself’ bake.
We celebrated afternoon tea week at Soho in collaboration with our friends at Saicho, who make the most delightful sparkling tea.
We knew you’d all love it, and it was lovely to welcome so many new and familiar faces to the cafe.
We’re wondering whether to keep Saicho as an alcohol free option for afternoon tea, what do you think?
...we baked up a (summer) storm with some irresistible Eton Mess Blondies.
These came about as we were kindly sent some of our favourite strawberry jam from Single Variety Co, and thought a jammy blondie would be totally delish.
