Fresh, fruity and luxuriously light…
Our Mango & Yuzu Tiramisu is a fabulously fresh take on the classic Italian dessert. Lady fingers drenched in fruity yuzu and orange juice are perfectly layered with a generous drizzle of mango puree and thick dollops of vanilla mascarpone cream. This no-bake dessert creates the most vibrant layers and is perfect to whip up for all those last minute garden parties!
Ingredients:
- 350ml Yuzu juice
- 350ml Orange juice
- 1 fresh alphonso mango (sliced into strips)
- 500g Mascarpone cheese
- 600ml Whipping cream
- 150g Granulated Sugar
- 45 Lady fingers
- 100g Mango puree
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
Serving size: 6-8 people
Step 1
Pour the cream and sugar into a bowl and whisk vigorously until the mix thickens and soft peaks form.
Step 2
Add the vanilla and mascarpone cream and fold together until combined, set aside.
Step 3
Pour the orange and yuzu juice into a separate shallow dish. Soak the sponge fingers in the juice mixture and layer in the base of the glass serving dish.
Step 4
Add a thin layer of mango puree, then dollop a generous layer of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat the process, then top with the remaining mascarpone mixture, a drizzle of mango puree and scattering of mango slices.
Step 5
Place the tiramisu in the fridge to chill for 3-4 hours or until firm, then serve and enjoy!
Top Tips!
- For the juiciest, most rich and succulent taste we recommend using alphonso mangoes.
- To avoid any sogginess, make sure you don’t over soak the sponge fingers - just a quick dip!
- We love using mini dishes to create the cutest individually sized trifles.
