SHELF LIFE & STORAGE
Short Shelf Life (up to 7 Days)
If you are not serving your cake straight away, make sure to store it in the fridge in its protective bag or an airtight container.
To display and enjoy our cakes at their best flavour and texture we recommend the following cake care; remove the white collar whilst your cake is still cold (ideally as soon as it is taken out of the fridge), then allow your cake to come to room temperature for 3-4 hours. (but please make sure it's not left in a space that is too warm !)
Once the buttercream has a soft, whipped double cream like texture your cake is ready to eat!
If you don’t let your cake return to room temperature, the sponge will seem dry and the buttercream will be hard and flavours dulled.
