Carrot Sponge: caster sugar, egg (EGGS), grated carrot, salt, mixed spices: ground coriander, ground cloves, ground pimento, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, ground cinnamon, bicarbonate of soda, vegetable oil: rapeseed oil, WHEAT flour (GLUTEN), Candied Orange Peel: orange slices, sucrose, fructose, dextrose, maltose, potassium sorbate, citric acid, sugar, water; Orange Cream Cheese Buttercream: butter (MILK), vanilla extract: vanilla, water, sugar, glucose, glycerin; rice vinegar, condensed milk: milk (MILK), sugar; Sorrento Orange Extract: orange essential oil; White Chocolate Crispy Pearls: white chocolate: sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder (MILK), whey powder (MILK) emulsifier: soya lecithin (SOYA), natural vanilla flavouring; Crisped Cereals: WHEAT flour (GLUTEN), sugar, WHEAT malt flour (GLUTEN), Starch from WHEAT (GLUTEN), sodium bicarbonate, salt, cocoa butter, natural vanilla flavouring, glucose syrup, sugar, glazing agent gum arabic, modified starch, vegetable fat (coconut); Candied Orange Peel: orange slices, fructose, citric acid, sugar.
Shelf Life & Storage
Short shelf life (7 days)
If you're not slicing into your cake straight away, we would advise you to store your cake in the fridge overnight to keep cool and fresh.
When you're ready to tuck in, remove the cake from the fridge and allow it to return to room temperature; this may take approximately 3-4 hours but will depend on the temperature of your room. As soon as the buttercream has a soft, whipped, double cream-like texture, you know it's ready to eat! If you do not allow the cake to return to room temperature the sponge and buttercream will be hard and the flavours may be dulled.

How your cake arrives
The cake is protected with a card collar around the cake and boards on the top and bottom, which is then packed inside a biodegradable bag. This helps remove the cake easily from the tin without anything getting damaged.
