There’s something so special about gifting charms, it’s not just beautiful, it tells a story. Whether it’s a symbol of friendship, romance, or self-love, these little pieces carry big feelings, which is exactly what Valentine’s Day is all about.
To celebrate the collaboration, we sat down with Lucy to chat about her love for jewellery design, what inspires her creatively, her thoughts on Valentine’s Day, and of course… the foodie traditions she can’t resist at this time of year.
Where do you find inspiration for your jewellery designs?
All around me, from dunking biscuits in my tea, to reading my favourite book - everything that brings me joy - can (and does) become a charm. We also love to hear ideas from our customers about what they would love in charm form - to celebrate their personal stories.
Your pieces are so beautiful and unique - have you always worked in this signature style?
Yes this is the Lily Charmed style - so different to other charms brands - I was a finalist for jewellery Designer of the Year 2025!
What’s your favourite part of Valentines day?
I love the cards my husband gets me - generally very cheeky!
Are there any special traditions that you have for the day?
My husband and I get Fish and Chips and wash it down with a bottle of Laurent Perrier Rose! We dont go out on the day as its too busy - so this home based ritual is perfect! We had Laurent Perrier Rose on our first date!
Do you have any family recipes or treats you look forward to at this time of year?
This month is also the birthday month of my son and husband - so we love to have a family get together and a meal to celebrate together - we like to try new food - and new restaurants.
What would be your dream jewellery piece to design?
I am planning to design a Jaffa Cake! But I get ideas everyday - so my dream design is normally the one I have thought of that day!
What is your go to galentines plan?
I am having a cheese and wine night with my girlfriends this galentines!
