We asked them a few questions about their creative process, inspiration, and what makes jewellery so meaningful.
1. We know how much love goes into each cake we make. What’s your process for designing a new piece of jewellery from scratch?
Each design begins in our London studio, inspired by timeless forms and ideas. From the first sketch to the final polish, every piece is brought to life by our skilled all-woman team using responsibly sourced materials. Love and intention are present at every stage of the journey.
2. Your creations have such a timeless elegance. How do you balance classic style with modern trends?
We like to keep designs simple and classic, then refine them with subtle modern details. This ensures our jewellery feels current but also remains wearable for years to come. Rather than chasing passing trends, we translate them into pieces our customers will treasure season after season.
3. If Lily & Roo were a dessert from our bakery, what would it be and why?
We would be a vanilla and raspberry layer cake. It is classic, light, and timeless, and like our jewellery, it is the little details that make it unforgettable.
4. Which of your pieces best sums up your personality?
Our Ten Pearl Choker. It is classic yet versatile, perfect for both everyday wear and special occasions.
5. What is the most treasured piece of jewellery you own?
A sentimental piece passed down through generations. For us, the true value lies in the story behind the jewellery, not just the materials.
6. In your opinion, what transforms a lovely gift into a meaningful one?
It comes down to intention. When a piece is chosen thoughtfully and crafted to last, it becomes more than an accessory. It becomes a lasting reminder of the person who gave it.
7. Where do you find inspiration for your designs?
We are inspired by natural materials, vintage jewellery, and modern simplicity, always with sustainability at the heart of what we create.
