Hey there!

It’s been a while - time for a catch-up, don’t you think?

Here at our bakery HQ it’s been all systems go with the launch of our adorable Wimbledon Biskies and the team have been working incredibly hard on all the finishing touches for these. We didn’t realise it was possible to love a product so much and have gifted these to all of our tennis mad friends and family. Such a cute present idea! We’ll be sad to say goodbye to these after the tennis tournament is over but equally excited for the new products our team have been working on which you’ll see on our site very soon.

Speaking of, it’s almost our 10 year anniversary, which we’ll be celebrating in September. We’re in good company too, as September is the most popular month in the year to have a birthday. Something like 9/10 of the most popular birthdays are in September, crazy! We’ve been working with our bakery team to create the ultimate birthday collection to ring in this milestone, along with some fun competitions and events for you to join in on too. In fact, as we write this, we’re nibbling away at one of the new birthday bakes, which is made from cake, but not a cake. Can you guess what is it?

Outside of work, it’s been really busy with friends and family as Annabel’s Big Green Egg is uncovered for summer and BBQ nights become a regular in our households. And yes, if you’re wondering, we spend all our spare time together too! Emily has taken to baking croissant cookies at the weekend for brunch, getting around the obviously inappropriateness of a cookie for breakfast with a blueberry oat and almond cookie. No-one is complaining as these are so delicious!

As we look ahead to July, we’ll be making the most of picnics in those lush green pockets in the outskirts of London, working hard on our next few collections, including Diwali, which has come around so quickly, and hopefully a few slices of cake and a coffee in our Soho store. If you’re in town, come and say hi and enjoy our air-con - it’s the most refreshing respite from the sticky streets of Soho.
