Downton Abbey fans and afternoon tea enthusiasts are in for a treat! Step into our Soho bakery for an immersive Afternoon Tea in collaboration with the home entertainment release of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.

 

From Friday 24th October, our Soho bakery will be transformed into two stunning theatrical sets. Upstairs, step into a world of refinement and splendour, where tiered stands, delicate china, and sparkling drinks await. Downstairs, descend into the warmth and charm of Mrs Patmore’s bustling kitchen, where hearty, comforting fare is served family-style at communal tables. It’s a true celebration of two very different worlds — both essential to life at the Abbey.

Descend into the downstairs world of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, inspired by the inimitable Mrs Patmore’s bustling kitchen. Think service bells, cast iron cookers and every inch of the walls lined with pots and pans.

 

Eat ‘with the staff’ around the kitchen table, with a hearty spread straight from the larder and a fresh cuppa from the pot. The Downstairs Afternoon Tea every Friday-Sunday until 31st Dec from 12pm-6pm.

 

 

With The Grantham’s afternoon tea service complete, you’ll even be treated to some ‘upstairs’ treats from the dessert table. Our Downstairs Afternoon Tea is available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 12pm and 6pm. Each sitting lasts 90 minutes. Please note, unfortunately due to the time slots available, any delays to arrival will be removed from your total 90 minute seating. We advise arriving 5 minutes before your booking to ensure a prompt start.

 

 

 

Due to the sharing style of dining, this afternoon tea is only available in seatings by twos. Please note you will be seated at a communal kitchen table for your afternoon tea experience. Unfortunately we are unable to cater for allergies or dietary requirements - please ask a member of the team for allergen information upon arrival if required. The dining room is set for a delightful afternoon tea, fit for a grand occasion, where you’ll be greeted with a glass of bubbles on arrival.

 

Presented on tiered stands, enjoy delights including cucumber and mint finger sandwiches, dainty tartlets and and the ‘Drawing Room’s slice of the day’. Our Grantham Afternoon Tea is available every Sunday from 26th Oct until 31st Dec between 12pm and 6pm. Each sitting lasts 90 minutes. Please note, unfortunately due to the time slots available, any delays to arrival will be removed from your total 90 minute seating. We advise arriving 5 minutes before your booking to ensure a prompt start.
