NOW CLOSED
And that’s a wrap! We have loved welcoming you all to The Common Room, but like all good things it has now to come to an end.
We conjured up our signature scones, apparated in beautiful biskies and served up wonderfully wizardly bakes over the years, but now our magical Afternoon Tea is taking a break from our Soho store.
Watch this space as we build our next immersive experience for you in our downstairs nook and in the meantime, why not book our popular ‘muggle’ afternoon tea upstairs in to curb those crafty cravings?

No. We are very sorry, but we cannot allow any children below 5 years of age into the Common Room. This is because the space is small and is not suitable for young children and infants who may affect the enjoyment of other guests.
We have no space to store prams or pushchairs and no baby changing facilities.
We have an age policy in place, as this experience and space is deemed to not be suitable for ages younger than 5 years. In addition, we are licensed to serve alcohol in the Common Room, and we cannot be responsible for minors.

No. Unfortunately, although we completely understand how much children love the world of wizardry, we aren’t a child-only event and do require anyone under the age of 18 to be accompanied by an adult. We are licensed to serve alcohol in the Common Room, and we cannot be responsible for minors.
The only way to secure a spot is to buy tickets in advance online for the date and time chosen.
We have tables of 2 and 4 available and will be allocated on booking. Due to the compact size and layout of the Common Room there is not sufficient space to add on extra seats. Should you wish to book for a larger party you will be seated on separate tables which cannot be “pushed together” due to the layout of the room.
Should you wish to book for a table of 8 this may be possible depending on availability, please email hello@cutterandsquidge.com
The Common Room holds a maximum of 22-24 people at one time and you can buy all 22 tickets if they are available via our booking system. The booking system is the safest and easiest way to assure large bookings as it shows availability in real time. If the system does not let you book all 22 tickets, then this means that they are not available, and you will need to pick another date.We cannot accommodate groups larger than 22 in the Common Room due to the layout of the room and the experience
If you wish to have the room just for you and your guests please fill out a private enquiry form or contact us at hello@cutterandsquidge.com
Please contact us at hello@cutterandsquidge.com, we’d be happy to help!
There is no required dress code, but we welcome those budding wizards and witches to get into character if they wish.
Sadly, our Common Room does not have wheelchair access. Due to the historic nature of the building and the Common Room being in the old basement accessed by stairs, we are unfortunately unable to provide wheelchair access.
We do serve alcohol, so please bring ID. Children's tickets are for ages 5 to 12 years, and anyone under the age of 18 MUST be present with a responsible adult.
No. We do have a small amount of space for coats and bags, but we do not have space for suitcases or prams.
Yes! We have merchandise available to purchase on the day in our Soho store.
