The teapots are polished, the scones are warm, and the silverware is shining; which can only mean one thing. The Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale Afternoon Tea has arrived at Cutter & Squidge.

Inspired by the elegance of the Crawley family and the bustle of life below stairs, our latest collaboration celebrates the timeless charm of Downton Abbey with an experience as indulgent as it is nostalgic. Whether you fancy the refinement of the drawing room or the warmth of the kitchen, there's tea for everyone at Downton.

Upstairs at Downton – The Grantham Afternoon Tea

Experience a touch of Edwardian sophistication in our elegant Soho tearoom. Begin with a glass of bubbles or a sparkling non-alcoholic bellini, followed by a tiered selection of classic British delights. Enjoy delicate finger sandwiches like cucumber and mint cream cheese, beautiful vol au vents, warm scones with gooseberry and elderflower jam, and the “Drawing Room” cake of the day, all served with your choice of fine tea.

Downstairs at Downton – Mrs Patmore’s Kitchen Tea

For something a little heartier and homelier, join us in the bustle of Mrs Patmore’s kitchen. This relaxed afternoon tea celebrates the warmth and charm of the servants’ hall, complete with comforting savouries and the same sweet creations loved by the Crawleys above stairs. Expect rich flavours, hearty helpings, and plenty of laughter at the shared table.

Our new afternoon teas have been lovingly built and designed by our NPD Manager, Lara. Having watched Downton Abbey since she was young, Lara took inspiration from every detail, from the way life upstairs and downstairs differs, to the flavours and textures that define a truly British tea.

We wanted to bring a touch of Cutter & Squidge charm to the experience while honouring the classic world of Downton Abbey. You will find our signature cakes and generous portions throughout, because no one should ever leave an afternoon tea feeling anything less than delightfully full and happy.

We look forward to welcoming you to Afternoon Tea at Downton Abbey.
